The Eleventh Session of the General Assembly of the States Parties to the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage will take place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on 17–18 June 2026. Bringing together representatives of the 185 States Parties, the Assembly will address key issues concerning the safeguarding of living heritage, including periodic reporting mechanisms, the use of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Fund, NGO accreditation, and the election of new Committee members.
We warmly encourage all NGOs attending the Eleventh General Assembly to actively participate in the meetings and networking opportunities organized by the ICH NGO Forum. These events provide a valuable platform for dialogue, exchange of experiences, and strengthening collaboration among civil society organizations engaged in safeguarding intangible cultural heritage.
