Just out: online publication on ICH NGO Forum 2024 Symposium “Participatory approaches to living heritage: Ngo perspectives”
The 2024 ICH NGO Forum Symposium provided a space for sharing experiences on the participation of communities, groups and individuals in decisions and actions for safeguarding intangible Heritage.
NGOs are particularly well-placed to carry out community-based and participatory work, engage in processes of self-reflection, provide good practice recommendations and shape future international policy. The symposium highlighted key issues concerning the implementation of participatory policies, across theoretical, ethical, methodological and practical levels.

Le SYMPOSIUM 2024 DU FORUM DES ONG DU PCI a offert un espace de partage d’expériences sur la participation des communautés, groupes et individus aux décisions et actions de sauvegarde du patrimoine culturel immatériel.
Les ONG sont particulièrement bien placées pour mener des travaux communautaires et participatifs, s’engager dans des processus d’auto-réflexion, formuler des recommandations de bonnes pratiques et contribuer à l’élaboration des politiques internationales futures. Le symposium a mis en lumière des enjeux clés concernant la mise en œuvre de politiques participatives, aux niveaux théorique, éthique, méthodologique et pratique.
