By September 27, 2018October 8th, 2018No Comments

Accredited NGOs from developing countries wishing to participate to 13COM in Mauritius are invited to apply for funding to the UNESCO Conventions 2003 Fund before 1st of October!

Expenses incurred by participants will be borne by the organization they represent. Participation costs for representatives from accredited non-governmental organizations from developing countries may, however, be covered by the Fund for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (the Fund), subject to the availability of resources.

Note that only one request per organization shall be considered for such assistance from the Fund. The Secretariat requires at least eight weeks prior to the session to process requests for such assistance.
Eligible non-governmental organizations can send their requests to the email address of the Secretariat (ichmeetings@unesco. org) as soon as possible, and no later than 1 October 2018.
Such requests should be accompanied by the curriculum vitae of the proposed expert, a scanned copy of his/her valid passport and his/her travel itinerary.
